BIMI

What this is

BIMI (published at default._bimi.yourdomain.com) lets supporting mailbox providers display your brand logo next to authenticated mail. It only activates on top of enforced DMARC, and major providers additionally require a Verified Mark Certificate (VMC).

How to read your result

A valid record has v=BIMI1 and an l= URL pointing at an SVG logo (specifically the SVG Tiny PS profile); an a= tag points at the VMC. No record simply means no logo — deliverability is unaffected.

Common problems and how to fix them

BIMI record exists but no logo shows in Gmail/Yahoo

How it shows up: The record validates, yet inboxes show the default avatar.

How to fix it: Check the chain of prerequisites: DMARC must be at p=quarantine or p=reject (not none, not pct<100 for some providers), the logo must be SVG Tiny PS served over HTTPS, and Gmail requires a valid VMC (a= tag). Missing any one silently disables the logo.

Logo file rejected

How it shows up: Validators complain about the SVG; some providers ignore it.

How to fix it: Export specifically to the SVG Tiny PS profile (most design tools need a conversion step or dedicated tool), keep it square, under 32 KB, with a solid background, and a <title> element matching your brand.
